Is the information accurate and up to date?
Vast majority of the information on this website is sourced by our first hand experiences and personal knowledge as local Istanbulians, and not from some copy paste article on the internet, so yes, we can vouch for what we see and know first hand. However, certain things like closing hours, opening hours, public transportation options etc might change in time as Istanbul is an ever growing city and we update every change as soon as we’re informed. As far as being up to date goes, we are a group of professional tour guides so naturally, being in the first line of tourism, we are amongst the first ones to learn and react when something changes. We are also part of a very large community of tourist guides and other tourism professionals that alert each other to every minute change in Istanbul tourism.
Do you do tours? Private, group or walking tours?
Yes we do, that’s precisely our day time job actually. We work legally through tourism agencies, however we do not sell any tours on this website. If you’d like to join one of our group tours or walking tours, contact us and we can direct you to the local tourism agencies we work with for booking a tour, and if you’d like to do a private tour, we can help you to find you a private tour guide in almost every language, as we are part of a huge guiding community. How much they charge for what kind of tour that will be between you and the guide. We don’t sell tours, but we can help you connect.
