Suleymaniye Mosque is considered by many to be one of the most – if not the most – beautiful mosque ever built by the Ottomans. However, its location is a bit isolated and requires a bit of walking (15-20 mins) to get to from the nearest public transport, for this reason, it does not get visited as much as other historical mosques such as Blue Mosque.

The easiest way to get to Suleymaniye Mosque is to go to the “Beyazit” station of the T1 tram line and walk. You can get to Suleymaniye Mosque from Beyazit station in about 10-15 mins of walking. If you are coming with subway, you can get off at “Vezneciler” station of the M2 metro line, and walk about 20 mins to Suleymaniye Mosque.
