How Do I Go To the Yeni Mosque?
Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the “Spice Bazaar” or “Spice Market” is the second most famous historical bazaar in Istanbul and it is a part of a larger complex that includes Yeni Mosque (literally: “New Mosque”, although it was built in 1664), so they are adjacent to each other, and can be visited together at the same time. This means that Spice Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar are indeed the same place.

Best way to get to the Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Bazaar) and the Yeni Mosque is via tram line T1. Get on the tram line T1 and get off at the “Eminönü” stop, you will see the magnificent Yeni Mosque right in front of you, and the Spice Bazaar on its right, just a couple of minutes walking distance.
If you are coming from the Asian side of Istanbul, you can walk from the ferry pier of Eminönü to the Egyptian Bazaar in 5 minutes.
If you use the subway, you can get off at the Haliç station of the M2 metro line and walk 15 mins to the Spice Bazaar.
